Treatment: Indian Head Massage, What to Expect
This treatment lasts for approximately 45 minutes and we will also have an initial consultation, where we can discuss your needs or any ailments you may have.
With this massage, the use of oils is completely optional. If you would prefer not to use any oils, that is fine and we will discuss your preference in the consultation. With this option, you will remain fully clothed, however it is recommended that a lightweight t-shirt is worn.
If you would prefer to have oils for the treatment, you will be required to remove any upper clothing. The treatment focuses predominantly on the head, neck and shoulders, and you will have a large towel to wrap around you to protect your modesty.
For the end of the session, we also recommend that you bring a comb or brush along as we will be focusing on the head and your hair may be a little untidy following the treatment!
Conditions that Indian massage can help include:
- Tension headaches/migraine
- Hair loss or thinning
- Eye strain
- Muscle tension
- Insomnia
- Sinus congestion
